The Adventure Brew Hostel was created to give you, the adventure traveler, and a friendly and fun base from which to plan your explorations of Bolivia. Take a break from your travels, meet other travelers, or just recharge your batteries before heading out for further adventures!
The Adventure Brew Hostel, under New Zealand and Bolivian management, aims to provide just about everything an adventure traveler could want from a hostel and so we put the world s highest microbrewery inside our hostel! What more could you want cold tasty Saya beer brewed onsite!
Funnily enough, the combination of a great hostel, a brewery, free beer, and an awesome roof top bar and BBQ quickly resulted in The Adventure Brew Hostel becoming the most popular hostel in La Paz. In response to this overwhelming popularity (and the fact that in the past this has meant we were often full) we are excited to announce the opening on Jan. 1, 2007 of the first phase of The Adventure Brew Hostel expansion - the annex! Lovingly renovated from a grand 1880 s residence, this expansion to the main hostel is less than 180 meters down the street from the main hostel building (the hostel) Read below for more details. The hostel and the annex feature:
* This coming June 2nd: The Adventure Brew Hostel Gran Poder Party!!
*All guests, whether staying in the hostel or the annex buildings, are entitled to full
access to all the features, facilities and freebies available in both buildings

The hostel and the annex have no curfew and no lockout, so you can party 'til you drop and know you can get back in to your room whatever the hour!
The Adventure Brew Hostel welcomes you to enjoy our facilities and make new friends in a safe, fun, clean environment. With the addition of our new second bigger 1880 s building (the Annex) with lots more beds and social spaces we hope we will run out of space less often. That said, we still highly recommend booking as far in advance as you can. At check-in make sure to ask about rooms in both the hostel and the annex. The Annex is currently undergoing some minor renovation, so we are offering a number of special deals on beds there. We encourage you to stop by and stay the night, and offer any feedback or ideas you may have. We'll bend over backwards to ensure that your stay with us is unforgettable. The Adventure Brew Hostel is not the cheapest hostel in La Paz (but it s also not that much more expensive!! It s for people who are looking for much MORE than just a bed in a crowded, dank room!!
